Rihanna has reached yet another career milestone with her latest honoring.
The Bad Gal recently hosted her annual Diamond Ball, which featured a performance from Kendrick Lamar, and continues to make philanthropic strides with education efforts, and now her hometown will be giving back to the accomplished recording artist.
The Barbados Ministry of Tourism announced that the singer will have a street named after her in St. Michael. According to Nation News, the new street dedication will happen on November 30th, which is also Barbados’ Independence Day.
The Westbury New Road will officially be changed to ‘Rihanna Drive’ come this November. Rihanna is expected to attend the unveiling ceremony where she will be honored on the street in which she grew up.
Rihanna recently went back to Barbados for the Crop Over Festival and shook the internet when she posted her colorful and revealing outfit.
