Chance the Rapper has teamed up with Lyft on a new campaign giving back to his community.

“Round Up & Donate” is a campaign that Chance has put together to raise money helping fund underprivileged schools in Chicago.

Lyft is giving their customers an opportunity to help out by rounding up their fares to the nearest dollar. The extra money will benefit the rappers New Chance: Arts & Literature fund.

When asked about the Lyft partnership, Chance responded, “Through the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund, I’m committed to giving the kids in Chicago as much as I can.  And now with Lyft’s Round Up & Donate, we can give them much more because the more we ride, the more we raise to bring more arts programs to Chicago Public Schools.”

Chance is a huge supporter of his hometown’s schools and it’s not the first time he has helped them out. Earlier this year he donated $1 million to the Chicago Public Schools Foundation. He also raised another $2.2 million through his organization, New Chance Arts and Literature Fund.

The Round-Up & Donate option is available through the Lyft app.
