Jay Z has been definitely stepping up over the past few weeks in order to aid those around the world, who have been affected by the recent devastating hurricanes.
According to a recent report from TMZ, Jay Z lent his New York 40/40 club Manhattan location Wednesday, October 5th, for a special Disaster Relief event for Puerto Rico and the Hurricane Maria victims.
Jay Z also partnered with the cognac company D’Usse to provide free bottles of the liquor for guests who donated items or money to reliefs. The private event at 40/40 helped bring in over 200,000 supplies including flashlights, solar lamps, batteries, and school supplies.
