Looks like Cardi B is celebrating having the number 1 hit in the country by posting a preview of new music on Instagram.
On a recent interview with The Breakfast Club she revealed, ” “Every single time I think, ‘I got all the 10 songs,’ I’m like, ‘Nah, I’m buggin’. These ain’t it, It’s just like, damn! I’m competing with myself. I’m competing with the goddamn No. 2 record and stuff.”
Now that she has reached the top, Cardi B is feeling the pressure of success. In this unnamed record she raps about her days as a dancer and brings up her new-found success, “Mama couldn’t give it to me, had to get it at Suez/ Lord only knows how I got it at Suez/ I was covered in dollars, now I’m dripping in jewels/ a bitch play with my money, might as well spit in my food.”
