Pop musician Shawn Mendes went by the Tonight Show, to talk to host Jimmy Fallon, about his terrifying encounter with Drake’s security team.

While going to The Weeknd‘s show recently, Mendes says he saw Drake in the V.I.P section when he decided to approach the rapper. Unfortunately, Drizzy’s security team had something else in mind.

In the clip below, Mendes says, “Drake’s security guard just has me completely at his mercy. And I’m like, ‘Oh no!’

Drake then came in for a save and rescued Mendes from his team.

Looks like we can think twice before messing with Drake’s security team in the future.
