The Hand in Hand Telethon went down last night…The telethon attracted many celebs that were concerened about the state of Houston

There were so many celebrities there, including Beyonce, who addressed the crowd by saying, “Natural disasters don’t discriminate. They don’t see if you’re an immigrant, black or white, Hispanic or Asian, Jewish or Muslim, wealthy or poor. It doesn’t matter if you’re from Third Ward or River Oaks, we’re all in this together. Seeing everyone of different racial, social and religious backgrounds put their own lives at risk to help each other survive, restored my faith in humanity.” The singer’s emotional speech was one that the people need to hear in this difficult time…

Steve Wonder opened the show and after his powerful performance he addressed the crowd by saying, “Anyone who believes there’s no such thing as global warming must be blind or unintelligent. Lord, please save us all.”

Usher, Luis Fonsi, Jamie Foxx, Selena Gomez were just a few of the celebrities that were in attendance…Hand in Hand raised over $44 million dollars for hurricane relief…
