Great news for Playboi Carti fans! Today, it was announced that his track, “Magnolia,” just went platinum! “Magnolia” has been one of this summer’s hottest hip-hop anthems. With this success, the track has moved 1 million units, either through sales or streaming equivalents.
The track producer, Pi’erre Bourne, shared the good news through his Instagram. The video showed the two celebrating their amazing accomplishment.
There is no question that this year has been quite a year for the young rapper. He recently teamed up with Asap Rocky and Lana Del Rey on her new song, “Summer Bummer,” worked with Nav and Offset on “Minute;” and his most recent project, “WWTW” with Young Gleesh and Lil Yachty.
Playboi Carti is undoubtedly one of hip-hop’s up and coming artists. We congratulate him on this incredible success and hope for an even brighter career ahead of him.
