This week, Jamie Foxx shared a personal story from his past with Howard Stern. The actor recalled the early stages of “Ray,” when he was lving fast. While Foxx was on a destructive path, Oprah changed his thinking with just two words and a meeting. 

“I’m drinking, I’m doing every f**king thing you can possibly imagine,” the actor said. Then, Jamie Foxx said he got a phone call from Oprah, and she straight up told him he was “blowing it.” 

After that, Oprah took Foxx to meet Sidney Poitier, that conversation made him realize how his acting was making an impact. Watch Jamie Foxx share the rest of the story below.
