The Black Eyed Peas are back, but this time they will be returning in the form of a graphic novel. The group has announced that they will be gracing the pages of a Marvel Comics graphic novel. The Marvel and Black Eyed Peas collab is called “Masters of the Sun – The Zombie Chronicles” and is due to hit shelves in July. 

“Few artists have done more to embed hip-hop in popular culture than will.i.am and the Black Eyed Peas. So we are thrilled to present this deeply personal story that speaks directly to hip-hop aficionados, comic book fans and the intersection of those communities,” Marvel editor Axel Alonso told Billboard. 

The group took to instagram to share some of the artwork from the project, along with a caption that read: “Masters of the Sun: The Zombie Chronicles drops this July. Stoked for you to see what we’ve been working on with @marvel Comics.” Check out some of the artwork below.
