Nick Cannon is a hard act to follow, and that is the reason why “America’s Got Talent” has been having a hard time to fill the postion. You probably have already heard some of the people that were up for the position like Marlon Wayans, Brandon Mychal Smith, and Tone Bell.

Marlon Wayans looked like he was the leading contender for the postion, but it looks like he was asking for too much money. The attempts at trying to hire a comedian didn’t work, so AGT had to find other options.
