IT’S INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!
Women and men from around the world advocated equal rights for women by:
1) Women take the day off, from paid and unpaid labor
2) Avoid shopping for one day unless it’s a small, women- and minority-owned business
3) Wear RED in solidarity
March 8 – A Day Without A Woman is to honor and recognize the amazing value women of all backgrounds bring to the socio-economic system. Women play a huge role in the labor force and the hip hop world wants to embrace them by posting on social media. Check out artists who were supporting women today below:

I will raise my children to be beautiful human beings and powerful men who understand how magnificent women are. I believe that all women, all over the world, are beautiful, whole and powerful. They should be honored like goddesses, not just on International Women’s Day, but every day. We must continue to lift each other up, believe in ourselves and not hold back from this truth. #InternationalWomensDay
