Chance The Rapper announced today (March 6) that he wants to donate money in the name of education. The action is a result from his meeting with the Illinois Governor, Bruce Rauner. Last Friday (March 3), Chance had a meeting with the Rauner to discuss funding education. After the meeting, Chance did not look too happy and stated that the Governor had left him with “vague answers.”

Today, Chance The Rapper went on Twitter and Instagram to announce that he would be holding a press conference. During the press conference, Chance The Rapper, said he would be donating $1 million dollars to the Chicago Public School Foundation. The rapper then presented a large check, at a Chicago school, in the amount of $1 million dollars.
