Almost 20 years after the sudden passing of Notorious B.I.G and new music is expected. Faith Evans, Biggie’s wife at the time he passed, announced today that “The King & I” is set to be released on May 19, just two days before Biggie would have been 45 years old.

The album will reportedly have 25 songs as well as many featured artists including Lil’ Kim, Styles P, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Jadakiss.

The album has been in the works for a few years ago and was inspired by Natalie and Nat King Cole’s Unforgettable,  according to Faith Evans. Faith Evans adds “This project is my creative reflection of the love we had & the bond we will always have”.

According to Faith Evans site, the first two singles will be “NYC” featuring Jadakiss and “When We Party” feating Snoop Dogg. Both songs are currently available now for download and streaming.

The album also features a special guest appearance by none other than Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace. Ms. Wallace’s voice will serve on the album as a voice of narration throughout the album, along with the voice of Biggie and Faith Evans.

Faith Evans last album was released in December 2015, MMM (Money Making Mitch), and Notorious B.I.G. last album, Life After Death was released following his death in March 1997.
