Last month, Souja Boy was arrested after guns were found in his home by authorites while he was on parole. Today (Jan. 23), the rapper has been charged for illegally possessing firearms, one of the weapons is supposedly stolen from Huntington Beach police. 

According to a release from Los Angeles County District Office, “Soulja Boy faces one felony count each of possession of an assault weapon, a Mini Draco AR-IS; unlawful firearm activity; felon in possession of a firearm, Glock 21 .45 caliber; and one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property, a Glock 21 handgun.”

The rapper’s upcoming boxing match with Chris Brown could be cancelled or rescheduled, if Soulja Boy is convicted for the charge. The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, his arraignment is scheduled for today.
