Chance The Rapper & Frank Ocean Attend Obama’s Final State Dinner

The final presidential debates are going down tonight and voting day is just around the corner so sadly it is almost time for Barack Obama to leave office.  Our two term president hosted his very last state dinner yesterday and had a couple of our favorite hip-hop artists in attendance.  Frank Ocean and Chance The Rapper were both invited to this historic event.

Chance The Rapper, who has been very vocal about politics and voting during this electoral season, showed up to the dinner with his father.  He was very excited about the invitation and even joked about the fact that he wasn’t wearing a hat for once at the dinner.  Chance also tweeted a picture of him and his dad, Ken Williams-Bennett, all dressed up together at the event thanking him for raising him right.

Frank Ocean pulled up to the event with his mother, Katonya Breaux Riley.  She looked gorgeous in a luxurious pink gown and Frank showed up looking very distinguished in a suit with checkered vans.

Some other well-known guests that made it out to the state dinner include Jerry Seinfeld, James Taylor, Gwen Stefani, Mario Batali, Roberto Benigni, and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.  Of course Barack Obama and our first lady, Michelle looked amazing and owned the night as well.

For more hip-hop updates stay tuned in to DJ Felli Fel every afternoon from 3p-7p.
