Last week Tim Kaine donned himself “Lil Kaine.” Now, he’s kicking it with Pusha T?
Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine might be on to something with the “cool dad” swag he’s been leveling up on; it might be due to the long list of hip hop artists that he and Hillary are pulling to their side!
Over this past weekend, Tim Kaine was introduced by fellow Virginian, and G.O.O.D. music rapper, Pusha T, during a campaign trail stop in Miami. The Saturday block party event was part of the on-going efforts to encourage more voter political involvement and what better artist than Pusha to make a statement about the importance of voter knowledge and to mc and stand next to possibly the next “cool dad” Vice President of the White House?
In his short opening speech, Pusha T says:
You guys know the stakes are high for Miami especially. We got to get the message out, we got to get out there and vote. We have to. We need to be heard, we need our voices to be heard. When we do actually get into those polls, we need to think about what’s important to us, what’s important for the community, and we need to pick Clinton and Kaine.
