Kevin Hart has been dominating the comedy game for years now and it seems like now he wants to takeover the rap game too! Kevin a.k.a. Chocolate Droppa has been making little guest appearances on stage at his hip-hop friend’s concerts but recently he has been taking his rap career a bit more seriously.
Kevin “Chocolate Droppa” Hart showed off his cypher skills at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards a few weeks ago and now he has dropped his debut mixtape as the soundtrack for, Kevin Hart: What Now?, his latest stand-up comedy film. The mixtape dropped earlier today and has some BIG names featured for a debut album.
Kevin recruited hip-hop artists Big Sean, T.I., Trey Songz and more onto the new 17 track mixtape. The project also contains a few solo skits with all Chocolate Droppa bars. Watch out rappers because the comedic rap rookie even has a deal with Motown Records to show how committed he is to his new music career.
Along with the mixtape, Kevin Hart’s new stand-up film hit theaters today so be sure to checkout the film that inspired the soundtrack as well.
