Chance The Rapper is always doing something dope, and he isn’t stopping anytime soon! Chance is going for the Grammy (s) like he mentioned in his “Ultralight Beam” verse when said:
“He said let’s do a good ass job with Chance three /
I hear you gotta sell it to snatch the Grammy /
Let’s make it so free and the bars so hard /
That there ain’t one gosh darn part you can’t tweet/”
So, let me bring you up to speed here…Chance was recently on the cover of Billboard Magazine’s Grammy preview issue. The timing was perfect because the Recording Academy had just announced that streaming-only albums, like Coloring Book, will be eligible for awards this year!
The rapper is not only on the cover of the magazine, but he has taken an ad out to petition the Grammys to consider him for a nomination. In the ad, you can see a photo of Chance and the words, “Hey, why not me?“
Billboard’s Senior Editor tweeted Chance’s ad, and now Chance is inspired and confirmed on Twitter that there are more ads of this nature on the way.
