Drake fans at Drake University were devastated when they thought that Drake was performing in Des Moines, Iowa, where their school is located, and had not visited their school. The students and faculty at the university have been petitioning all over social media with the #BringDrakeToDrake. They were incessantly trying to convince Drake to come visit his university namesake and it had seemed like Drizzy had ignored their request.
However, late night after Drake performed his concert in their city he actually did pay a visit to Drake University but the students were sleeping! He even posted this video outside of a sorority house as proof that he actually did come through.

Kappa Alpha Theta apologized to the Canadian rapper for not answering the door for him and another sorority even offered him an invitation to come to breakfast this morning when they woke up. The good news is that Drake proclaimed that he will be back in Iowa for every tour so hopefully the students of Drake University will get another chance to meet their school mascot in the future!
