Did SZA Just Quit TDE On Twitter?

Did SZA Just Quit TDE On Twitter?

It seems like there might be some issues surrounding SZA’s upcoming debut album, A.  SZA took to Twitter yesterday evening to express how she felt about the release of the new album and actually ended up quitting altogether.

SZA has been a part of Top Dawg Entertainment, home to huge artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q, since 2013.  She released her Z EP under TDE’s management but has not yet released her first album.  SZA has been working on the album and even hinted that the project would possibly be released this November but we have received no word of the official release date yet.

It seems like SZA has clearly gotten tired of waiting since she fired off that tweet at TDE co-president, Terrence “Punch” Henderson.  Punch responded to her tweet indirectly with a quick “Lol”.

There is no word yet on whether SZA’s tweet meant that she was quitting the label or just quitting on trying to push a release date.  However, she has deleted the tweet so hopefully she and TDE have gotten past any issues that they have had.
