They Don’t Want You To Vote But Twitter Does

After the debates went down yesterday, it’s clear to see that we all really need to vote this election season.  Since today is National Voter Registration Day, Twitter has made registering to vote for this election as easy as possible!  All you need to do is slide up in those DMs.

Twitter’s account, @Gov, is taking your DMs and sending you all the information that you will need to register.  In order to get hooked up with the details simply send @Gov a DM with your zip code and they will respond with your specific registration deadline and a link leading you to where you can register. Make sure you #IRegistered!

Various artists have also showed their support of this registration movement throughout the past few weeks.  Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa, Katy Perry, and Ty Dolla $ign are just a few of the names that want your voice to be heard.  Chance The Rapper urged his fans to register at his Magnificent Coloring Day Festival this weekend with a voter registration kiosk at the venue and a link next to the live stream.  Vic Mensa released a video yesterday, “Why I Vote”, explaining the importance of voting to his fans.  If you haven’t registered yet make sure you send a DM to @Gov ASAP!

In the meantime, check out some of these tweets for inspiration.
