Colin Kaepernick has been causing waves with his protest of standing up for the national anthem, and has gained his share of supporters and haters.
Well his new found supporters have caused his jersey sales to spike higher than ever, with even artists such as J Cole and Trey Songz seen repping his jersey at a show.
Kapernick decided to pay it forward today and posted to his instagram a picture with various fans wearing his jersey and the caption “I want to thank everyone who has shown me love and support, it truly means a lot! I wasn’t expecting jersey sales to jump to number one because of this, but it shows the people’s belief that we can achieve justice and equality for ALL! The only way I can repay you for the support is to return the favor by donating all the proceeds I recieve from my jersey sales back into the communities! I believe in the people, and WE can be the change!”
