They didn’t want Dj Khaled to have another hosting gig after the MTV Video music awards but guess what? He got another hosting gig for the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards.
If you thought otherwise you played yourself. In a series of Sapchat videos from the head of programming at BET, Steve Hill, the announcement was made that Dj Khaled would be this years host.
And in Khaled fashion he accepted by saying “Don’t play yourself, You’ve been wanting me to host this for a long time. Congratulations, I’ll do it.”
Hill even took part in the “we the best” antics saying, “Khaled you got this don’t paly yourself.”
The nominations which were announced in early august showed Khaled’s buddy Drake leading the pack with a total of 14 nominations and future following right behind him with 10.
The Major key artist has a few nominations himself with 9 consisting of DJ of the year, album of the year, and the people’s champ award.
