Sean “Diddy” Combs has yet another accomplishment to add to the list of all of his successes. He has now opened a brand new charter school in Harlem, New York. Just after the hip-hop mogul graced the MTV Video Music Awards he was seen giving a speech and cutting the ribbon at the new Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School.
Growing up in Harlem I always had a dream of opening a school with a leadership curriculum for our inner city youth. Through the grace of God and the support of the Harlem community my dream came true. I’m going from me to we!! I would like to thank Harlem, all my children in the school and the staff for making it happen!! #letsGO #CapitalPrepHarlem

His speech included words of encouragement to the school’s new students and stories about his success. The school will educate students from 6th to 12th grade and has already enrolled 160 students for the 2016-2017 school year. Diddy is from Harlem himself so it’s great to see him giving back to his community.
