Last week, in an interview Lil Yachty said he,”honestly couldn’t name five songs” by Tupac or The Notorious B.I.G. And elaborated by saying,”if I’m doing this my way and making all this money, why should I do it how everybody says it’s supposed to be done?” A lot of people were really surprised and concerned about this, including Anderson .Paak, who sent out a tweet on the topic, but didn’t give any details as to who the tweet was about:
