Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have dedicated a whole website to their new track “White Privilege II” featuring Jamila Woods. On the site below the track they explain that “This song is the outcome of an ongoing dialogue with musicians, activists, and teachers within our community in Seattle and beyond. Their work and engagement was essential to the creative process.”

They definitely went all out on this record. The collaborations, the sound, the lyricism, the production, the everything. You’ll listen to it and you’ll feel like you’re in a movie. They give credit to everyone who participated in this extraordinary piece of art. It truly tells a story. Plus the song is nearly 9-minutes long!
