Kendrick Lamar Might Not Perform ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ Anymore

In a recent interview with Complex, Kendrick Lamar’s producer Terrace Martin, recently told them that Kendrick might not perform To Pimp A Butterfly anymore. Apparently Kendrick told fans in Dallas that, “This might be the first and last time I perform To Pimp A Butterfly”. But why?

When asked the question, “Kendrick has talked about possibly not performing songs from To Pimp A Butterfly after he finishes the run of Kunta’s Groove Sessions. Why?”

Terrace answered, We didn’t do that album for popular culture. We did that album for people who have no way out. We did that album for people who can’t eveb afford to go to the shows. We did an album for people who need hope. You don’t prostitue that.”

Terrace went on to say that Kendrick is doing his thing and that he’s damn good at it right now. And, I think that is a good note to end on.
