Why do we think Post Malone could potentially follow in Fetty Wap’s footsteps? We’ve compiled a couple of reasons below:
1) His Singles Are Turning Heads

Like Fetty Wap who has hit singles like “Trap Queen”, “679”, “My Way”, and “Again”, Post Malone is headed in that direction. His singles “White Iverson” and “Too Young” have gained plenty traction, and it’s only the beginning.

This is where Post Malone has the advantage over Fetty Wap. Fetty Wap is 24 years old and Post Malone is only 20 years old. With only four years seperating the two, who know’s what can be accomplished in that amount of time?
3) He’s Already Signed To A Major Record Label
In November of 2014, Fetty Wap signed to 300 Entertainment, which is distributed by Atlantic Records. In August of 2015, Post Malone signed to Republic Records. Both of those signings early on in their careers have got to say something.
4) His Sound Is Unheard Of And It’s Working
There is no other voice out there in the rap game similar to Fetty Wap’s. The same has to go with Post Malone. Both of their voices cannot be mimicked. And both of them have the ability to sing and rap, a characteristic not many artists possess.
5) The Anticipation Of His Album Is Killing Us
Like Fetty Wap, Post Malone became popular through his couple of singles. Fetty Wap just recently released his studio album and it is doing very well. I’m sure we can expect the same from Post Malone soon down the line.
6) He’s Performing At Our Cali Christmas Concert Because We F*ck With Him
