The Family Of Nipsey Hussle Will Celebrate His Birthday Privately

With Nipsey’s birthday just a few days away, fans were wondering if a public celebration would be held in his honor.

August 15th will mark the late rapper’s 34th birthday, but instead of holding a party open to the public, much like his funeral; the family is understandably opting for something more intimate. According to TMZ, Nip’s family has received multiple proposals to put on a large event but a source tells the outlet they feel it’s too soon for something like that, despite the requests of fans.

For those fans who were hoping to pay their respects at The Marathon Clothing store front; the police already have a plan in place for the countless people expected to flock to the corner of Crenshaw and Slauson. LAPD will have 100 officers on duty in the surrounding area as a precaution. The will also be adding a large barricade in addition to the fence that has been put up to make way for Nipsey Hussle tower. The store made an offical statement via their Instagram page denouncing any events that may be falsely advertised, peep below:
