Fan Petition Started For LeBron James To Replace Betsy DeVos

It looks like LeBron James’ fans are wanting him to take over the spot that Betsy DeVos holds in the Donald Trump’s cabinet.

Just a couple days after being insulted by Donald Trump, LeBron’s fans came in with support by the thousands, signing a petition in which would be pushing for the action of replacing Betsy DeVos, the current secretary of education and be replaced with LeBron James. The petition currently has over 6,500 signatures on it.

The creator of the petition says that Betsy DeVos is “a scandal-ridden Republican donor who shows an inexcusable dislike for public education, wants to gut protections for women and minorities, and has advocated for teachers to be armed in schools.”

The petition came to existence after LeBron James opened his I Promise School, which is located in Akron, Ohio. The elementary school took in two-hundred and forty students in which they will be receiving free tuition, uniforms, food and more.
