Janelle Monae came through to The Cruz Show to not only talk about her new album Dirty Computer, but she also expressed a few words on Kanye West’s recent ‘Free Thoughts’ remarks about slavery, and she even discussed Ye’s narcissism.
In response to Kanye’s Twitter rant, Monae says:
I’m a free thinker, and here’s a free thought: I think that if free thinking is rooted in the oppression of minorities, of black people, of the LGBTQIA people, of immigrants, of women, then I don’t f*ck with your free thoughts.
Monae recently dropped her new album Dirty Computer which she describes as an ‘Emotion Picture.’
