The Hood Internet Mashed Up 40 Years Of Hip Hop In Under 4 Minutes [WATCH]

If you don’t know by now, after this video you should realize that Hip-Hop is here to stay. The Hood Internet shared their take on the history of Hip-Hop, and they did it with style. The video is called “40 Years of Hip Hop,” and get ready to see the entire genre packed into under 4 minutes.

This video has everything from that Dirty South sound, those West Coast classics, and the East Coast raps that every Hip-Hop fan should know. The Hood Internet describes the project as, “Over 150 songs from more than 100 artists representing 40 years of hip hop all crammed into 4 minutes. It’s not a chronological history of hip hop. It’s rappers from different eras finishing each other’s rhymes over intersecting beats, all woven together to make one song.”
