Chance The Rapper To Giveaway 30,000 Backpacks For Back-To-School

Every hour we hook you up with Chance The Rapper tickets, but this back-to-school season, Chance is hooking up his hometown city of Chicago.

Chance is giving back to the city that raised him, once again, and this time it is to provide essential supplies for students going back to school. Lil Chano joins rappers like 21 Savage, who are taking on the responsibility to give back to the communities they grew up.

Chance announced the big giveaway just a few days ago and the musician will hand out the 30,000 ‘stuffed’ backpacks during the Bud Biliken Parade, where he will serve as the grand marshal.

Chance has partnred with SocialWorks and the Brooklyn backpack purveyor Statge Bags brand to help deliver the school supplies.

 

SocialWorks and @statebags will be giving away thirty thousand (30,000) stuffed backpacks at The Bud Billiken and #BBBash on Saturday. Stay tuned for more info
