Sabrina Carpenter has added a Primetime Emmy to her growing list of career achievements. During the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, The Muppet Show special won Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), giving Carpenter her first Emmy as an executive producer and performer on the Disney+ production.
The award was announced as part of the Creative Arts ceremony, where the special collected four wins overall. It competed in the variety special category against several high-profile productions, including Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour: The Final Show.
Carpenter’s Emmy marks another crossover moment in a career that has expanded beyond music into television and entertainment. She first built a large audience through acting before becoming one of pop music’s most visible performers in recent years.
