Jack Harlow has been putting in work over the years and with his growing success since the breakout hit “What’s Poppin” took off, the Kentucky-bred rapper hasn’t looked back since.

Covering the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Harlow not only announced his follow up to his 2020 debut ‘Thats What They All Say,’ revealing his sophomore effort ‘Come Home The Kids Miss You’ will drop next month, but the 24-year-old artist also made a few statements that secure his confidence in his career and life.

Taking into consideration the unfortunate ongoing situation between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez, Jack speaks with Rolling Stone and opens up for the first time about the controversy and his decision to keep both Lanez and DaBaby on the “What’s Poppin” remix. During the interview, Jack states, “I know I’m a good person. My character, my integrity are very important to me,” Harlow said. “And I think I’ve done such a good job that now I’m being forced to answer for other people’s actions. It doesn’t feel right as a grown man to speak for other grown men all the time. … One thing’s for sure, is that Megan got shot. And I wish her nothing but love and respect.” Although Harlow did receive many requests to remove Tory, ultimately he decided to not follow through.

Also, in the Stone interview, Harlow admits that he wants to be the face of his generation in hip-hop as he explains, “I want to be the face of my sh*t, like the face of my generation, for these next 10 years,” said Jack. “We need more people in my generation that are trying to be the best, and you can’t do that with just ear candy, vibe records. You got to come out swinging sometimes…”
