Pulling up to the Power 106 studios, G Perico tapped in with the L.A. Leakers Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk to discuss how much his life and career have altered for him and how he’s more in control than ever of his space in the rap game, business, and personal life.
Sharing that 2021 has been the warm-up for 2022, Perico has prepared himself for the upcoming new year with tons of new music, a new Melrose sneaker store, and an honest outlook on his come-up. Candidly speaking on his stature in his neighborhood and commenting on his place amongst street politics, G shares his perspective on still striving to give back to his community and living in his neighborhood, following the deaths of Young Dolph and Nipsey Hussle.
While the “Spazz” rapper is aware of the reality of his status and the temperature of his hometown environment, G still works to better his community, especially for the youth who have experienced what he’s gone through.
G Perico goes on to detail how “Spazz” came together, setting his own rules and vision as an independent artist, and much more.
