Triller is in search of its first-ever resident DJ and they are offering a $1M USD annual salary to the recipient.

As a Triller Resident DJ, you would hype up the crowd at events such as VERZUZ, Fight Club, Triller Live FITE, and more in Los Angeles and other cities when traveling. The network is also looking for amateur talent and “aspiring DJs from around the world.”

Triller recently acquired VERZUZ and has partnered with co-founders Swizz Beatz and Timbaland to find this next DJ. In a statement released, the duo says “We’re excited to help find Triller’s new Resident DJ, which will be a DJ gig like no other. The VERZUZ audience knows what’s up, so when the voting begins you can be sure the winning DJ will be someone who has all the right stuff. We can’t wait to discover the next superstar behind the decks.”

Similar to VERZUZ, the position will be decided by fans in a battle where they can choose who deserves to be Triller’s official resident DJ. DJs will be required to showcase a five-minute set using hashtag #TrillerDJ to be recognized. A total of 16 candidates will be selected on August 8 and finalists will later battle each other on VERZUZ in September during TrillerVerz Weekend Music Festival.
