Repping for Jacksonville, Florida, 19-year-old rapper Nardo Wick came through to the Power 106 studios for the latest installment of the DJ Carisma feature ‘Checc’d In’. The new artist has been making noise as of late with his growing career.

With co-signs from rappers like Future, Nardo admits that he’s known he’s always wanted to do music and has studied artists like Lil Baby and Kodak Black. Nardo has only been going at his music craft for the past year, having kicked things off during the novel coronavirus pandemic, but his upcoming project ‘Who Is Nardo Whick’ is expected to shine more light on who he is as an artist.

Nardo goes on to speak on receiving major label record deal offers the night he was arrested, his writing process, and much more.
