Over the weekend, fans, friends, and close family all came together to pay their respects to the late DMX, who passed earlier this month.
As New York City represented for he Yonkers native, with the infamous Ruff Ryders club escorting X’s casket to the Barclays Center for his Celebration of Life Ceremony, a special Kanye West and Balenciaga collaboration went up for sale, in support of the late rapper’s children. While Kanye West not only made his Sunday Service choir available for the event, West’s commemorative shirts honoring the Dark Man reportedly raised $1 million, all of which will go to X’s family.

The custom tee went on sale for $200, just ahead of the ceremony and the Balenciaga x Yeezy top featured an image of the rap legend, the words “in loving memory” on the back, and his birth and death date on the right and left sleeve, respectively.
DMX fans quickly supported the drop as the item sold out in 24 hours and brought in a reported $1 million.
