Daily Dose returns with Teddy Mora and DJ Carisma of the Power 106 Morning Show and Bay Area legends Too $hort and E-40 dropped in for the quarantine check-in, just ahead of their bubbling Verzuz Battle. The two rappers, who will soon make another historical moment in the Verzuz pandemic past-time, took a moment to clear up the misconception of their being a supergroup featuring Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and the two Northern Cali Kings. While Short admits that all four of iconic rap superstars did come together to form a new business venture, and have recorded music in the vault, he also shuts down claims that they are not joined as a group. Not only do 40 and Short give us some throwback moments and memories they’ve shared with the late 2Pac, the duo also speak on how working with Lil Jon bridged the West Coast and South together to usher in new music trends. Mora and Carisma also speak with the rappers about Verzuz Battle, who they have in their Cali Mount Rushmore line up, and much more.
