Los Angeles’ very own Jerry West stopped through to Checc In with DJ Carisma where he chopped up about the advantage the quarantine has presented him with creating new music. While the rapper says he’s usually reserved and a homebody, his current single “Who Is You” shows another side of the LA native. On the single, West nods to the culture with the Friday sample that is featured and tells Carisma that his upcoming visual will be reminiscent of the 90’s classic vibes. West also runs down his favorite L.A.-based movies that include ‘Baby Boy’ and ‘The Wood’, reveals one of his dream collabs is to work with Dr. Dre, and much more.
