“Because there is no #24 without #2”. Wow i’m sobbing.

Vanessa Bryant took to social media today to reveal that Kobe’s foundation formerly known as the Mamba Sports Foundation, will now be called the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. Love, love, LOVE!

In her Instagram post she says, “Because there is no #24 without #2, we have updated the Mamba Sports Foundation to now be called the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. Our mission remains the same – and stronger than ever – to provide opportunities to young people through sports. Thank you all for the outpouring of support and your kind donations to date as we carry forth Kobe and Gigi’s legacy.. We hope to empower young athletes in a world they left us all to help shape. #Mamba #Mambacita #wings”

All-Star weekend is taking place in Chicago this weekend and they are honoring both Kobe and Gigi in a beautiful way. Every player on Team LeBron will wear jersey #2 for GiGi and Team Giannis will have the iconic #24 for Kobe of course. The format of the 2020 All Star Game has also been altered in tribute to the Mamba.
