Actor and singer Quincy stopped by Nick Cannon Mornings to talk about his growth in life and the industry.

Nick Cannon gets into a Close Conversation with Quincy and asks about his story and transition. Quincy had internal struggles with finding himself, “With my Mom’s passing, that was devastating and my whole goal in life, everything I did revolved around just making my Momma proud. That’s literally what I lived for . . . [when she died] ok what am I doing this for. I had to really think about the passion side of things.”

The “Options” singer tells Nick that everything is a lesson and he’s not for the drama, but Nick brings up how he talks about the option of women he has in his music. Quincy sets the record straight and tells us exactly what he likes, “I really connect with the mind and keep things eye to eye. You really grow when you learn something about yourself, so those are things that keep me going. The looks is cool for that initial connection, but that ain’t nothing.” Women with a mind is what he likes.
