Lil Kim And Trina Reconnected Over Shared Heartbreak

Lil Kim is undeniably a trailblazer for female rappers in the game! From her iconic style to paving the way for women to be unafraid of being sexy and thug at the same time, the QUEEN has truly made her mark on pop culture.

This week she made a stop at the Nick Cannon Mornings ShowZen studio to chat about her highly anticipated ‘Project 9’. During a round of speed questions with Nick, she explained she talked about whether being feared or loved in life was more important to her. She responded with, “Loved. Because guess what? If I love you, I fear you. Because I fear losing your love,” she said. “For a long time, I was afraid of love.”

“Let me tell you how God works. I ran into Trina,” she mentioned, “and you know, she just lost her mind. Her and I used to be really really close before long time we were kinda estranged…Her and I feel like her mom and my dad brought us back together. Its crazy.”

Lil Kim truly looks like she is in high spirits, and in a great place not only in her career but in her personal life as well.
