Will Smith has always been one to give back to organizations such as Livestrong Foundation and Feeding America. This time, he is teaming up with The World’s Biggest Sleep Out campaign.

The actor is urging people to help him fight homelessness by sleeping outside on December 7th. The “sleep-out” movement is hitting major cities around the world. In a promotional Instagram video for the organization, Smith says,

“Think for a minute about what home means to you… to me, home means conversation. It’s, like, the place where my family comes together and that’s the most beautiful part of home. But there are over 100 million people in the world who don’t have a place to call home.”

At least 50,000 people are expected to come together in support of the campaign. Other celebrities stepping up against homelessness include Chris Martin and Helen Mirren.

Though there is no word on whether or not the actors will be sleeping outside, they will have everyone else out like a light! Will Smith is reading a bedtime story in Times Square, while Helen Mirren will be doing the same at Trafalgar Square.
