Kendrick Lamar is one of modern hip-hop’s biggest acts and arguably one of music’s most recognizable faces. Lamar is an artist in every sense of the word and has often been praised for his almost perfectionist attitude towards any project he’s working on, whether music or sneakers.
K. Dot has done some dope collabs for Nike in the past, including a number of different Cortez colorways as well as a reported Nike Air Force 1 model on the way. The L.A. rapper and mega sports shoe company are expected to drop a Nike React Element 55 collab soon.In an Instagram post, which features the “King’s Dead” emcee, it appears that the shoe is designed as a split colorway. What is featured predominantly on the outside of the shoe, is a solid color and halfway through the shoe the inside becomes patterned. The black and white photo doesn’t give a hint of what hypebeasts might expect in colorways, so it’s unclear what the final colors will be, but we are excited regardless. As of now, there is no release date information for the shoe and it probably won’t hit the shelves for some time.
Anything Kendrick Lamar releases becomes a classic, so we’re certain these sneakers won’t be any different!
