DMX Apologizes For Several Missed Shows And Checks Into Rehab

DMX’s team wrote in an Instagram caption, “In his ongoing commitment to putting family and sobriety first, DMX has checked himself into a rehab facility. He apologizes for his cancelled shows and thanks his fans for their continued support.”

The rapper was released from jail earlier this year in January and signed a new deal with Def Jam. Seeing that the rapper needed to take some time from himself to get clean, it seems Dark Man X had more to sort out internally.

This is a repeat occurrence for him, since the rapper canceled some California performances in 2017 for the same reason.

He reportedly was meant to perform at the Memphis reunion show of Three 6 Mafia on Saturday and later this year for Rolling Loud. Unfortunately for us, it could be a while until we see a show from him. Fortunately for him, he his getting the help he needs.
