It looks like West Coast rapper, G-Eazy, is trying to score the leading role of Elvis Presley in an upcoming biopic!

The director of the film, Baz Luhrman, was seen with G-Eazy in NYC just last month and that’s probably when the rapper made his pitch about how serious he actually is. Although, it’s reported the rapper is NOT among those who are being considered to play the rock n’ roll God.

Luhrman hasn’t revealed who the lucky man will be, but it appears the top 5 names are Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Harry Styles, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Austin Butler – oh my! G-Eazy is going to have to work a little harder to scoop this role.

He recently posted pics of himself lookin’ a little like Elvis and captioned it with a quote from one of the singer’s songs, “Don’t be cruel, to a heart that’s true.”

It’s tough in this Hollywood industry. Hopefully, the rapper is braced for a little heartbreak.
