A new Dreamville documentary that will give fans a BTS look at the RD3 sessions is dropping next month!
Earlier this year, the music scene was buzzing when people found out J.Cole and the Dreamville collective invited artists and producers to Atlanta to help create the upcoming Dreamville compilation project. The album was originally expected to drop this spring, approximately around April or May-ish, but it was sadly pushed back. Now, *fingers crossed* the release may be upon us!
With no warning J.Cole and the rest of the Dreamville crew dropped a trailer today for a documentary premiering July 2nd! “I had this idea. Let’s go somewhere, lock in, and invite a bunch of outside producers and artists to come f*** with us and just make this album,” Cole says in the clip.
“REVENGE: A Dreamville Film. Dropping Next week 7/2. Every time I watch it I wanna time travel back to the sessions.” the Dreamville co-founder tweeted this morning with a link to watch the trailer.

Two songs off the upcoming album dropped last week; “Down Bad” features J. Cole, Nudy, JID, Bas, and Earthgang; and “Got Me” with Ari Lennox, Ty$ , Omen and Dreezy. Fans are speculating, and lets face it…we’re ALL hoping, that the official mixtape will drop the same day as the doc. But for now it’s anyone’s guess! Watch the full trailer below:
