Operation—continue to secure the bag is in motion ya’ll!

Ever since the Tristan Thompson scandal and speaking her peace on Red Table Talk, Jordyn Woods has shown that in fact, she does NOT need the Kardashians; and has been making moves of her own hunty! Jordy has been working on her athletic line “SecndNture” and is seemingly pretty unbothered despite having a falling out with her bestie Kylie.

Now, Jada and Will Smith’s niece is trying her luck on the small screen. Woods announced yesterday via Instagram that she’ll be making her acting debut on Freeform show Grown-ish. For those who haven’t seen it, the show is a spin off of ABC’s Blackish. “This was the first role I’ve ever booked,” she wrote. “I was nervous at first but I got past that and had the best time. Take risks and stay consistent to your journey, you never know what the world has to offer,” she wrote in part of her caption.

PEOPLE, has the exclusive scoop and reports that Jordyn won’t appear until later in season 3 and her character Dee, is a freshman in college, described as a “sweet soul with a soft-spoken and sincere vulnerability.” Grown-ish stars Yara Shahidi as Zoey, as well as Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Chloe x Halle, and Luka Sabbat. The show returns to Freeform for it’s third season on June 5th
